Our History
Founding El Safa Press
El Safa for Printing and Packaging was founded as a family business in the late seventies of the twentieth century, we started with a manual Egyptian made Die Cutting machine and two employees, one of whom is still working at El Safa Press till now. And we kept expanding and growing our market share year after year through our distinguished quality and cost effectiveness.
The Factory
After our success, We decided to take the next step, In the mid nineties we moved to the industrial zone of Merghem in Alexandria, build a new ISO certified factory with modern and efficient infrastructure over 4000 square meters, equipped by state of the art machinery and technology and over 300 of the best employees in the field. These new updates helped us get into the packaging industry strongly, dominating the largest market share and acquiring dozens of new clients.
Our Expansion
Driven by our believe in constant improvement, we expanded our factory to cover 16500 square meters, and expanded our team to 700 employees, we added new production lines including cheese boxes and ice cream cones, renovated our entire production lines with the latest machinery. we acquired more certifications in various aspects and grew to become one of the largest printing and packaging companies servicing the largest companies in our market.
Exportation
After dominating the local markets, we decided to engage international markets, and with 18 sales offices around the world, a 50 million USD turnover, 30% of which is from exports, we succeeded in strengthening our foothold in Africa and the middle east, and extend our reach to European countries.
Future Insight
Exporting is our important goal, we currently export to satisfied customers in 23 countries in Europe, Africa and The Middle East, which encourage us to enter more countries all over the world specially the European market to be one of the leading companies industrially and commercially, and very soon our offices will cover the globe.
With more than 700 staff members and the latest technology in all stages of production, El Safa Press is one of the largest Printing and Packaging Companies in the Middle East and Africa.
